Dear EUMETSAT Pensioner (or one soon-to-be),

We are glad you are considering to become a member of the EPA! Please note that there are three types of membership:

    • Full membership: for persons who are in receipt of a EUMETSAT pension, including early, survivor, reversion, orphan or invalidity pension, and former staff members who have acquired deferred pension rights and who are not in active service at EUMETSAT anymore.

    • Associate membership: can be applied for by a staff member who is still working at EUMETSAT andwill become a pensioner within the next twelve months.

    • Honorary membership: may be granted by the Association, upon proposal of the EPA Committee, to former EUMETSAT staff members who do not receive a EUMETSAT pension but subscribe to the Association’s objectives.

If you wish to become a member please contact the EPA Secretariat (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.). You will then receive the EPA Membership Application Form, with further relevant information about EPA. Please fill out the form, sign it and send a scanned copy to the Secretariat.   

The EPA Committee will review your application and grant membership accordingly. Assuming a succesful application, you will be asked to pay the relevant annual membership fee as follows:

  • Full members:   €25.00 for former A-grade staff,  €12.50 for former B-grade  

  • Associate members:   no fee payable

  • Honorary members:   €12.50

 If joining in the second half of the year, half the stated amount is payable.
